Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Orientalistik / Sinologie - Japanologie, Note: 2,3, Freie Universität Berlin (Ostasiatisches Seminar), Veranstaltung: PS: Literarische Selbstzeugnisse im japanischen Mittelalter, 3 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Werk Sanuki no suke nikki, geschrieben von Fujiwara no Nagako, wird zur Tagebuchliteratur (nikkibungaku) des japanischen Mittelalters, hier der späten Heian-Zeit (794-1185), gezählt, doch hat es zum Hauptthema nicht primär, wie man vermuten würde, die Person und die Empfindungen der Autorin selbst, sondern eher den Kaiser Horikawa, über den ohne dieses Werk so gut wie keine Informationen bekannt wären. Doch gerade dies macht die Fragestellung dieser Arbeit interessant, die lautet: „Mit welchen Techniken schafft es Fujiwara no Nagako im Sanuki no suke nikki Selbstzeugnis abzulegen, obwohl das primäre Thema ihres Werkes Kaiser Horikawa ist?“. Denn obwohl Fujiwara no Nagako hauptsächlich über den Kaiser und die Erlebnisse im Zusammenhang mit ihm schreibt, kristallisiert sich doch auch der Charakter und die Art der Protagonistin heraus, was auch schon im Prolog ihres Buches deutlich wird, als sie schreibt: „It is an attempt to console myself that I am writing down these various memories as they come to my mind.“ und gerade deshalb soll in dieser Arbeit dargestellt werden mit welchen Mitteln ihr dies gelingt. Dabei soll jedoch nicht die Frage behandelt werden, in wie fern dieses Tagebuch fiktional oder real ist, denn dies würde den Rahmen dieser Arbeit sprengen. Dazu sollen hier in einem ersten Teil vorerst die Autorin und das Werk vorgestellt werden, um es in seinen historischen Rahmen einzuordnen. Es soll zuerst ein allgemeiner Überblick über das Werk gegeben werden, um damit im analysierenden zweiten Teil der Arbeit besser umgehen zu können. Im zweiten Teil soll dann mit Hilfe von Passagen aus dem Buch direkt am Text erarbeitet werden, mit welchen Techniken die Autorin es schafft sich selbst darzustellen. Auf Grund dieses nahen Arbeitens am Text besteht die verwendete Literatur aus dem Werk selbst, und zwar in der Übersetzung von Jennifer Brewster unter dem Titel The Emperor Horikawa Diary,und der dazugehörigen Einleitung derselbigen Autorin.

Special attention will be paid to the Swabian migration under Karl VI, Maria Theresa and Joseph II.

In Hungary four different settlement regions developed in the last centuries. The first three: 1. the middle part of the country (County Pest, Veszprém, Gran) with the Centre Budapest, 2. the south-eastern Transdanubia (Counties Tolna, Baranya, Somogy – the so called Swabian Turkey), 3. Eastern Hungary (County Szatmár) were regions of private, grand settlement ventures, which were regular but where methodicalness was restricted in its validity due to minority interests. The fourth big settlement area, South Hungary (Bácska, Bánság) was a result of public colonisation politics.

This paper focuses on the Banat at the south-eastern periphery of the Great Plain (Álföld) between the rivers Danube, Tisza and Maros and the foothills of the South Carpathians.

In Hungary and South Slaw a Bán was a high government official. His sphere of influence extended of a Banat (Bánság), which is comparable with a principality or duchy. During the middle ages there were several Banats in the South-eastern European region, but only the Banat of Temesvár lasted under its original name. As a part of the spread of the Hungarian power in eastern and South-Estern directions this area was annexed to the Hungarian Kingdom in the first part of the 11th century.

After the defeat of Mohács in 1526 the lower Hungarian regions fell to the hands of the Ottoman Empire.

Dazu bedient sich die Person verbaler oder körperlicher Gewalt. Von Erwachsenen, insbesondere Eltern werden in manchen Situationen auch schon Verhaltensweisen wie z.B. Unmutsäußerungen oder Grenzauslotungstests (v. a. bei Kindern) subjektiv als Formen von Aggression wahrgenommen. In der Wahrnehmung von Kindern ist Aggression häufig gleichgesetzt mit Wut. Viele Menschen unterscheiden jedoch zwischen Aggression als geplantem Verhalten und Wut als ungeplant affektivem Verhalten, das mit einem Verlust an Selbstkontrolle einhergeht, aber ab und an sogar hilfreich und heilsam sein kann. Damit decken sie sich in ihrem Aggressionsverständnis teilweise sogar mit wissenschaftlichen Kategorisierungen, die zum Teil auch zwischen geplanten und affektiven, oder auch aktiven und reaktiven Aggressionsformen unterscheiden.

In den neunziger Jahren des vergangen Jahrhunderts beobachtete der russische Wissenschaftler Iwan Pawlow (1849-1936), dass angeborene Verhaltensweisen, nicht nur durch die dafür vorgesehene Situation ausgelöst werden können, sondern auch durch vorher neutrale Reize. Geht zum Beispiel einem angeborenen Reflex ein neutraler Reiz, wie etwa ein Ton voraus, so löst nach einiger Zeit allein der neutrale Reiz den angeborenen Reflex aus. Pawlow nannte diese Verbindung einen bedingten Reflex. Den Vorgang des Lernens, also die Verknüpfung des ursprünglichen Reizes mit einem eigentlichen neutralen Reiz nennt man „klassische Konditionierung“

About the Author
Bestselling Danish novelist Martin Jensen was born in 1946 and worked as a teacher and a headmaster in Sweden and Denmark before becoming a full-time writer in 1996. An old fashioned mystery on an underappreciated period

This is basically an old school country house mystery in the vein of Agatha Christie and Dorothy Sayers, but instead of being set at an estate over a long weekend, a tour group, or a train, the setting is a political gathering in late Anglo-Saxon England. Our two protagonists, one a manuscript illuminator and the other a déclassé half Danish nobleman, stumble across a murder with significant political overtones early in the reign of King Canute. Canute promptly sets our heroes to work, and they begin trying to track down and interview a wide range of suspects. It is quite a fun outing, and while I sort of guessed the solution very early, I was not sure until more than two thirds through the book. There was no cheating.

The history is basically fine, the atmosphere is very good, and it is fun to see this all from a Scandinavian perspective since the book is translated from Danish. The ethnic conflict and relationships between the three main groups, Anglo-Saxons, Danes living in England for centuries, and Viking adventurers is very elegantly handled.

One interesting aspect is that at the end several loose ends in the investigation are left; this is lamp-shaded by on of the characters who suggest that sometimes it is very awkward to get to the bottom of everything, a suitably Nordic medieval sentiment, but I would have enjoyed the whole puzzle more if they had been addressed.

The translation is solid, better than some other Amazon Crossings tiles, with a good command of the two languages. It does not feel like a translation.

Excellent piece of historical who done it. . .

Prior to writing this I read some of the other reviews and was amazed that so few readers thought it worthy of 5 stars.

I LOVED THIS BOOK.... The main protagonists kept the the story light and enjoyable, whilst at the same time the author has recreated a little remembered part of English history. I noted one reviewer compared this novel to the likes of an Agatha Christie novel and she is probably right, but again I hark back to the historical content. The characters in this novel (with the exception of Halfdan and Winston of course) are real. This is a great read and we learned something along the way.
After you finish this novel check out King Cnut on the net. More great reading.

Medieval murder mystery set in war ravaged English countryside

England, 1018. Invasions of Angles, Saxons, Danes and others are stripping the country of food, livestock and whatever peace the local villagers can wring behind their palisades. Cnut of Denmark wants to bury the hatchet between all the warring factions and requisitions the talents of Winston, the bookish ex monk who has come to illuminate Cnut's sterling qualities in a rich book for Cnut's wife. Instead Winston and his traveling companion Halfdan,a disenfranchised nobleman, are set to solve a murder in Oxford, where Cnut has convened the Saxon witan,a local council of elders, and demanded that the heregeld, a tax on the losers paid to him, be sent. With the blessing of the witan and the dispersal of the heregeld to Cnut's army as pay, Cnut's position as king will be solidified.

However one of Cnut's future subjects, a local Saxon chief, turns up dead in Oxford during the gathering after confronting Cnut in public. With Winston, a Saxon, and Halfdan, a Dane, on the investigation, both sides of Cnut's kingdom can be satisfied a clean investigation will result. Halfdan woos the female population to weasel out information and provides a strong sword arm when they are attacked while Winston flexes the mental skills he's acquired in using the smaller details to paint the overall picture of this, and the ensuing murders, and uncover the final plot.

These books are translated from the original Danish and it was interesting to get a take on the history of that unsettled time from somewhere other than the usual Anglo-American point of view. The ability to pick up numerous languages, Danish, Saxon and other dialects is emphasized as England was a polyglot society. The rudimentary detective skills displayed (by today's standards) is entertaining and the epilogue promises more adventures as a series. Recommended for fans of Oliver Potzsch Hangman's Daughter series without much of the buffoonery of his more recent books.

Una vecina explosiva e iluminada de los libros de autoayuda, el adorable perrito de ésta, un exigente productor de telenovelas, una prostituta enviada por este último para calmar el desamor y un hijo que tuvo trece años atrás se entrometen en su proceso creativo. Superficial y ligero

El libro empieza con una narracion ligera pero simpatica y en algunos momentos jocosa, pero poco a poco va perdiendo el humor y se convierte en una novela tonta, sin interes y sin rumbo. Lastima que un buen escritor se pierda en superficialidades . No logra su objetivo que tal vez es burlarse de la mediocridad de las telenovelas latinoamericanas.

He seguido con mucho entusiasmo cada una de las entregas y el final ha sido encantador. La manera en que uno puede explorar las contradicciones de Óscar ha hecho de esta novela una grata experiencia. Creo que mi personaje favorito es Nereida.

Ligera, pero cansona.

El argumento promete mucho, los primeros capitulos tambien, pero a medida que te adentras en la historia te aburres. Los personajes todos inverosimiles, a excepcion de Natalia. La novela no vale su precio.
